Wow! I'm glad I am the first to comment on this blog as it gives me the opportunity to say THANKS. Thanks Anne for setting up this site for me, I never thought I would be so up to date with todays technology. Thanks to Camberwell Petanque Club for their encouragement and support, Val Porteous for her efforts with my training for Tenpin Bowling AND obviously my family and friends, which, without their untiring support none of this would be possible. This week marks the 2nd anniversary of my 2nd transplant (Kidney/Pancreas) from an anonymous donor and almost 9 years since my first transplant (Kidney alone)from my Aunt, what can I say but miracles do happen.
Our bags are out, the uniform and sporting equipment is packed and Graham and I are so excited with only 4 days to go the smile on our faces is permanent.
Bye for now BELINDA
I can't believe it is 2 years since your second transplant, God how time flies and what a journey. Have a great time in Thailand, good luck at the games.
Gary, Sue & Bruce & I wish you great success, say hi to Graham.
Hey Belinda don't worry about the parties we will be having between the 2 houses I will take care. You go girl, remember taking part is what counts and when you come back with the gold it is just an added bonus

Have a great time.
Love Gail, Gabe, Luke & J.D. xxxx
Just back from a quick trip to Melbourne to catch up with family and boy is there plenty happening.
No words can describe the absolute joy that I witnessed in the faces at the Willoughby household. With only days to go before the ultimate experience for Belinda it was impossible to miss out on the positive hummmm of excitement and anticipation.
The well wishers, the cards, the phone calls and little presents. Her club, her trainer, her blog designer, all these things are making this a monumental experience that brings tears to the eyes.

Good luck, Belinda!
All Camberwellers are rooting for you (opps, that's an American term that I understand has a different meaning here). Anyway, Alma and I are delighted you will be representing Australia--the country of our naturalization--and we are proud of you.
I particularly admire your courage and strength of character, which is another way of saying you've got lots of boules.
Knock 'em dead in Bangkok, Belinda. We're all rooting for you (oh, dear, there I go again---a one-track mind, I guess.)
Love from us both, Bill
